<div class="IPBDescription">The 3 l's, is it possible?</div> I have been playing this game alot in the past few days, and found many of the radio commands and bound them to keys with accompanying text. The only problem is that it doesnt give a location to the commander and/or other players. Is it possible to bind a message that would give my current location on the map? ie: "Need ammo at (location)."

Thanks

This forum wont let me post, so I have to respond here:
Someone said that the comm can just go to your location.
When preforming this command, my comm told me to use the menu instead of my bind because he could not go to my location.

Yeah he is right, when someone says 'Need ammo' or the thing says base is under attack, hit jump and it will take you straight to the last thing said. Problem being when you get spammed with those things, you can't ever to the last one correctly and it gets confusing. I think the map should turn all the marines that are talking a different color on the map so they stand out. Like black or something which you never see on the map.

Ah, but you don't understand... When you use your "need ammo" button, the commander gets a notification in his chair: "soldier needs ammo." All he has to do is hit Jump (default space, and if you bind Jump to a mouse button you'll need to bind it to something else as well), and his view will recenter over the marine who made the request. nice, eh?

The same is true for need health and need order. Use your popup menu! And remember that if you do it while you're on the run, chances are he'll jump to your location and you won't be there anymore. So unless you're being chased by something, hold still after making a request. *ESPECIALLY* if it's a request for orders, since he'll need to select you to give you a waypoint.
