2 Things Aboslutely Ruining Ns

Today I was commanding on ns_tanith. We had some trouble at the start, we couldnt take that room with 2 resource nodes in it. We finally got it but by that time the aliens had 2 hives up. Then we went to go secure the third hive, but we met fades and lerks that wouldn't let us in. I gave up on that hive and ended up sieging two other hives, bringing the aliens from 3 hives to one. The aliens are of course **obscenity** that they are losing, so what do they do? They send an alien onto the marines and he kills our command console. Lucky, I wasn't a moron and built several other command consoles. Then, he kills our spawn gates, and we have to be constantly rebuilding them to keep us spawning. Our heavy armored marines with HMG's had taken out that last hive by now, and he still continues to destroy our things. So we sell our armories so he cant have any more ammo. There are 4 aliens left, and of course, still **obscenity** that they lost after having 3 hives, they hide in the vents for a good half our before I finally see two moving and track the last two down with jet pack and shotty.

This has happened to me at least 2 or 3 times today, and it is really getting annoying. Especially that game it was particularly insulting because we made such a hell of a comeback when it looked so bleak.

Anyway, <b>FIX THOSE TWO BUGS!</b>

I know the destroying your own structures is already fixed in 1.02, and I really, REALLY hope that 1.02 will be released soon so I can start to enjoy NS again.

For the other problem, you really need to add a votekick and a voteban system. Votekick requires a lower percentage of votes and no limit to how many times you can vote. Voteban requires a very high percentage of votes, you can only vote once per map, and the person who was banned is only banned for around 10-15 minutes. You only need this long because that person will most likely leave and not come back because he doesn't feel like waiting around for his timer to run out.

    The TK damage bug has been fixed in 1.02, and I'll likely something to deal with people who hide in vents (much more of a problem for hiding aliens then hiding marines). I was thinking of making aliens take damage when there are no hives left.

    Then what if you have a gorge honestly trying to build back a hive, not just hiding? Or you have a hive on the way? I know it's not a likely comeback, but I'd sure like to see it <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->

    What if there is a 'time limit', something short like a minute or two, for how long aliens can survive with out a hive, or a hive in queue atleast?

    i would like there still to be a chance for salvation after the last hive goes, but not in a ridiculous time frame.

    I was just playing on the 1.02 test server, and u know what my game ruined?

    For hiding idiots, (hello stupid aliens. Kill yourselves and start a new game!), use the observatory radar "ping" to locate the aliens.

    Now, I've only actually hidden once, and that was to debate the terms of my death. I wanted to go out in front of a marine firing squad, preferably a grenade toting one. Unfortunately, when I lept out of the vent to await my execution, some trigger happy jerk blasted me anyway with his HMG. Talk about pitiful way to die.
