•new Pain Sprites

<div class="IPBDescription">claw·ish remix</div> ...thanks to <a href='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/index.php?showuser=23707' target='_blank'>cortex</a> for compiling them. they didn't come out quite as i had hoped, and i'll probably make another set now that i've seen what HL does to the pain sprites in·game.

    Nice, but why not a big clawish sprite on the middle of the screen instead of 4 around?

    Because the four seperate ones show the direction you were hit in, so top is in front, right is right, left is left and bottom is behind. It means that not only do you know you are being hit, you know roughly what direction it is coming from.

    Besides, NS (and half life itself) dosen't support a single one.

    Actually, you could probably dupe HL into supporting a single one...make four that are all in the middle of the screen. That way, no matter where it's coming from, you will get a single pain sprite in the middle of the screen.

    Of course, I would rather have four different ones. lol

    and yes you probably could change the damage sprite into just one by editing the hud.txt file but i've no idea how.
