im so frieken clever
The resupply sound when armor or ammo is teleported to a marine was taken from a TV show. To be specific it was taken from Ghost In The Shell: Stand Alone Complex. The sound plays when one of the robots detaches from an airplane.
i played both sounds next to one another and they are the same.
not like anybody cares about this discovery but i feel proud of myself now.

Yep.
That would really surprise me. The current HA sound was done by MaXX.

Yeah... and the police radio. You know that one woman's voice who's chattering nonsensical babble? I hear that all the time >_> <_<
The Wilhelm scream was originally labeled "Man being eaten by an alligator"
Google it.
I was first introduced to the expansive history and use of this scream through NPR: interview here.
With that said, I've heard some NS sounds in movies, commercials, etc. But as said before, it's a commercially available soundpack.
ya, nothing is worse then a rotten sound

You got it. It's called "The General 6000", and is used in far too many productions. We'll be getting away from it in the future.
...
What?
I've also heard the Commander "drop" sound on numerous tv shows, inlcuding a Much Music commercial.
