<div class="IPBDescription">Take teh quiz!</div> <a href='http://www.beliefnet.com/story/76/story_7665_1.html' target='_blank'>Belief-O-Matic</a>

A short 20 question quiz that aligns you with 27 world belief systems. Could be more in depth, but it's short, and gives you nice explanations about the different belief systems.

Personal results:

1. Secular Humanism (100%)
2. Unitarian Universalism (99%)
3. Liberal Quakers (85%)
4. Nontheist (80%)
5. Mainline to Liberal Christian Protestants (80%)
6. Theravada Buddhism (68%)
7. Neo-Pagan (59%)
8. Bahá'í Faith (53%)
9. Taoism (49%)
10. Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (Mormons) (43%)
11. New Age (41%)
12. Christian Science (Church of Christ, Scientist) (40%)
13. Orthodox Quaker (35%)
14. Jehovah's Witness (34%)
15. Reform Judaism (33%)
16. Mahayana Buddhism (32%)
17. Mainline to Conservative Christian/Protestant (31%)
18. New Thought (26%)
19. Jainism (24%)
20. Sikhism (23%)
21. Scientology (20%)

23. Hinduism (14%)
24. Eastern Orthodox (11%)
25. Islam (11%)
26. Orthodox Judaism (11%)
27. Roman Catholic (11%)

Somewhat ironic as I was raised in a Roman Catholic family. It wasn't that I was turned off by church, prayer, etc., but I just felt it wasn't the way to live. <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->

I answered "not applicable" on so many as to rule out any accurate result.

While indeed it is, I'd say we <span style='color:white'>***move***</span> this out of Disc, since I can't really see it starting anything deserving that label.

I'd argue that the way the questions are worded, only those already familiar with their faith and its ramifications will be able to make a sensible choice among them. So it's a self-fulfilling prophecy, really.

Apparently my internal religious debate is rather confused as I was pretty sure I don't believe in God and my #1 result is some sort of confused/lazy religious group that seems to believe in a kind of God sort of and Nontheist is #5 AFTER Christianity.

Maybe my religious school upbringing affected me in unknown ways O:

Maybe you DO believe in a god. THE TEST KNOWS ALL. ALL WILL SUBMIT TO THE TEST.
