Tonight sees the semi-finals and final of the innaugral Yo Wombat Cup. This is a rather silly 3 vs 3 combat cup we have been having with the regulars on the Yo server.

It's turned out quite popular and we may be opening it up to the general public some point when we get get our posteriors in gear. Semi finals and finals of the first one are tonight if anyone would like to watch via HLTV, we have a 64 space HLTV server up for you to come and have a giggle

Winners are based on the amount of kills and death in the event of a draw but there are also bonus categories such as
<ul><li>Best Knife Kill / Parasite kill</li><li>Most ridiculous team name</li><li>Most sportsmansly team</li><li>Most amusing suicide / team kill</li></ul>

    Once you have the HLTV server address, just join it like a normal server (through a server browser, or by typing connect address in the console).

    I joined it at about 9 and watched untill the end, its was very.

    As for the results, well, here we go

    After two weeks of excitement and knicker wetting the innaugral cup has finished, leaving us tired, exhausted and drained.

    Best Team Name - Are you being served? (for jahmon's and h2o's "I'm free" chants).
    Best Knife Kill - Smileboot on Bugstah (still crying with laughter over that one).
    Best accidental Kill - Lozzy on Buggeh TWICE with a TK !
    Best sportmanship - h2o for stepping in to the breach at the last moment even though he was completely pants

    It has been a great deal of fun, watch this space for Wombat 2 - "this time it's personal"
