  You get that error when you've got the wrong version of NS. Make sure you have the beta 5 - that is the current public build.

  What .dll is giving you the problem? client.dll?
  
  Also make sure you are trying to join a B5 server - there are still servers running B4a and some are running the next build - B6 (those are restricted to constelation members.)

  Then you might have a bad/misnamed install. Try getting the file from another place. (I reccomend <a href='http://www.nsarmslab.com/flash/home.htm' target='_blank'>NSArmslab</a>)
