    hm, i dont know what about ns.org, but i use www.naturalselection.com now that the site has changed and moved

    you might want to try that

    [edit]
    other than that there is probably nothing you can do but waiting until the dns is running again

    You can manually add those entries to your hosts file (%windir%\system32\drivers\etc\hosts or /etc/hosts)

    What happens if you do a whois followed by a lookup on the name servers?

    After about 5 mins, I can get a response about the nameservers for ns.org, however one of the nameservers is a school and the other some homebrew jobby. Would have expected these nameservers to be a bit more professionally managed, but ain't my $$'s paying for it so <shrug>

    As for the /etc/hosts, well thats simple, but what do you recommend I put in there?

    What is the IP for ns.org then ? I don't know it <!--emo&:0--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wow.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wow.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    dunno about ns.org, but ive found that the main website and forums sometimes stop responding to me. (even though my connection remains active)

    Oh, your literally looking up ns.org

    The 3 NS domains that I know about are

    natural-selection.org
    naturalselection.com
    unknownworlds.com

    All 3 have the same pair of Name Servers

    NS1.SERVERMATRIX.COM
    NS2.SERVERMATRIX.COM

    I had one failure getting the whois info for naturalselection.com - connection refused to the registars whois server

    The IP for the 3 www subdomains is 67.18.232.194
