I Cant Play Hl2

<div class="IPBDescription">WHY ME</div> It wont let me play halflife 2, i purchased it last night and started downloading it(preloading), it got to what seems 97% done than stopped(apparently when hl2 was released)

and to boot it says i still havnt purchased the game, and is not on my games list =(

    restart steam, leave it on, and hope for the best?

    im sure its stuck because well, i went to bed and it was at 40 percent after just a few hours and have been here and has been stuck at 97.6 since ive been up

    psss... clam down and relax.. first just let the preload run.... it will hit the 100% for shure

    second just to inform you: I own a retail box version and upon registration it says: Registration proccess pending, we will inform you as soon as you have been succesfully registered.

    Well, steam is busy today.

    yeah steam is definitely busy, maybe it's just server lag :> I bet it'll be done by the time you get home...

    that just makes a grown man(boy?) cry.... i work tonight until 7, and than have to go in for one of my classes to take an app lest at 8:00 whichi will last 2 hours, than i have work the next day..... oh well somepeople have it worse i guess, cant play until monday or so

    ive waited a few years, i can wait a few days

    Well howabout not having a PC. I'd say that's pretty bad. All I get to see is screenshots. Here's my top 10 things I'd really, <i>really</i> like to be doing but my PC's stuck in another country.

    I done that. I left it for a couple of hours while I went to college and when I came home it was still there. I went to the HL2 icon and it told me it was complete. Now it is just unlocking the files <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/biggrin-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->
