Thats a large amount of polys.....

Heh, I'm only just starting learning 3DS Max properly. However we're learning it for use in Games.

So a slightly lower polycount and nice textures is what we're aiming for.

However it looks neat, the "nancy", but I prefer men in battle armors/suits, looks more brutish, which they are supposed to do I think.

perhaps it can be used like in doom 3, dunno what its called, but they make a hi poly model first and then make a lower poly one, and incoporating bump mapping

Great job with the modelling.
As this is kind of just game art (Not ns customization), this should be at the NS artwork section.

Displacement mapping / normal mapping.
And it would be still way too hi-poly for used in the game.

Great job anyway!

that is one sexy model :O too bad itll never be used for ns without a huge poly reduction... wd anyway though

We just have to wait until HL 5 so we can make NS 5. But by then, the software will be better so you'll have made a better model! NOES!111111!1111

This is some movie quality stuff though. Just press the reduce polies button 5 million/billion/trillion/google times and you could make it a player model!

well... i suppose you dont really need the body modeled underneath the armor... thatd prolly reduce it alot

not enough though....

and it also looks like her head is a little detached from her body..

I actually noticed that.. The first thing on this thread is a link for it. Even the dummiest (like me) can notice that.

Maybe I wasn't clear enough, I mean't that this should be there (only). No need for double threads

..That kind of smarty as you.. I thought you could read between the lines

Nonwithstanding the remarks of some now-banned user, sheena, one thread really is enough for this. In case you get the nancy model into playable form in one way or another, open a new thread in here. Otherwise, this really is a case for the artwork forum.
Coltrane, do us both a favor and use the report feature from now on.
