Resource Sharing

<div class="IPBDescription">Sharing resources WITHOUT using F4</div> I was recently in a game where it was me and one other gorge, we both became gorges at about the same time, roughly 30 sec of each other, but he had built a res tower and a def tower before I had the resources to build one resource tower. He and another player said they had someway to share their resources and their was a strange green symbol to the left of their names if you pushed tab.

This was at the very start of a game so we both had the 10 resources from the start and no one exited or went back to the ready room since I would have gotten the same resources as he did. So the only way that I can think of is that the two people were telling the truth and found some way for one to give the other resources.

I was just wondering if this is supposed to be a feature in the game or is it a bug? If it is a feature of the game does anyone know how is it done?

    Just a shot in the dark, but...

    I believe the green symbol means they are an admin of the server. And admins have special "sys" commands which allow them to manipulate the game is pretty much any way, shape, or form. I've seen an admin give his skulk the primary "claws" attack of an Onos, as well as 500hp for his skulk. Anything can be done by an admin, and in this case, they probably used it to transfer resources.

    Yup, that green symbol is because he's an admin. Just type auth in the console if your wonid is set into the server's file to validate who you are.

    On a side note, what are the admins commands available? A link or the commands them selves would be sweet.

    Ugh. Admins who abuse their position to give themselves an advantage really cheese me off... why do people feel the need to do sh!t like that? >.<

    That's nothing. You haven't played with an **obscenity** admin till you've played on a server where the admin restarts the game every time his team starts to lose. Wish I could remember the server name, this one guy is <i>notorious</i> for this.

    Not mine i always let the game go to the end regaurdless of who's wining
