<div class="IPBDescription">BUG!</div> hi I have a seriusly problem...
my NS wont work with steam!
I have the map I:\Steam\SteamApps\name__last-name@hotmail.com\half-life\ns
but it wont work...
my brother have I:\Steam\SteamApps\********@hotmail.com\half-life\ns
and it works just fine for him...
I have updated it, delited it and installed it again, I have even tried to copy his files into my hl folder but it doesnt work!
have played ns for about 1 year....

I would blame it on your name_last-name messiness. Maybe you can get a new email address?

As I wrote i have played for over a year... I have not had any problems before.
It worked before we reinstalled the computer.

May I suggest you use <a href='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/index.php?showforum=18' target='_blank'>http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/in...hp?showforum=18</a> these forums instead, since this is clearly a problem on your end(otherwise everyone would have it).

Have you run the original half life once before attempting to play NS? There are files steam needs to copy over into the hl folder before you can play mods.

Are there any error messages that show up? Does steam freeze at a certain point? Could do with a bit more information.

Does it say something along the lines of "NS does not support software mode"? In which case you would need to go into your options, video tab and change your renderer to opengl or d3d.

Anyway... give us some more information.

As i wrote my other steam games works just fine.... that inkludes HL...

and no no messenges ore errors or somthing like that..

There are not any missing files and steam is working correctly.
It's just the Third party games who isn't in the Steam menu.

Check you liblist in your nsp folder if its there Im not sure whats rong if its not the game is most likly missing other files aswell,

i had this problem before aswell. when i installed ns i already had a ns folder, and the installer automatically installed my files in the ns folder ( blah/blah@saf.com/half-life/ns/<u>NS</u>. )make sure this doesnt happen to you
