Missing Animations In Ns Models

<div class="IPBDescription">Folks could improve animations</div> Will the models (mostly aliens) be improved ? Theire animations are a bit jerky and could be improved. I don't much about HL models, but does it have animations sequences in a model for specific actions the player is doing like attacking1, attacking2, climbing, taunt1, taunt2, ...

When it climbs it simply walks, there are no animations for climbing. When it attacks, no jaw animations for biting, no taunts, ...

Maybe if the community had access to them, they could do those missing animations <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='confused.gif'><!--endemo-->

    If you look in the actual models via HLMV, you'll see that they have all these anims done already. They just aren't hooked into the NS code fully. This was done due to time constraints. It will likely be fixed and working in the first NS client patch.

    AND most mods don't have these climbing animations, infact only the top mods like ns and hostile intent, have them!

    hostile intent? i dont count mods until they are released lol
    wasent HI supposed to be released like 5 times over?

    i have contact with Bill, HI's animator. and he dint mentioned any climbing animation to me.

    about the missing animations in game, we already know about them. it is a HL engine limitation, but i and def_one knows how to fix it. it is not fixed yet because we had no time to fix it BEFORE the release since there was alot of things to do yet.

    Anyways, I think some build animation would be cool to have. Also, it would be really neat if the marines would put their hand to their ear when talking through the radio (speaking of radio, where's their mike?).

    reloading animations would be cool too,

    i used hlmv and found no climbing animations but all the bite animations and stuff.

    Oh man ... I can't wait to see those Onos attack animations work ingame.

    Now THAT would be frightening.
