Redemption Bug

I don't like it when you get warped back to your base and you get stuck in the wall or ceiling. Is there any way to get out of the wall besides typing kill in the console? This happens usually only with a Onos, but I have had it happen with a Fade.

Don't Get me wrong I LOVE NS!!! This is the best mod for HL ever. Keep up the good work guys!!

    This is about 80% of the reason I usually dont play a Onos. They get stuck on EVERYTHING! Towers, walls, spawns, elevators, doors, its like they got hosed down with superglue.

    Can't tell you the number of times Redemption kicked in and ported me right into the middle of a structure, then I have to kill myself and the point of Redemption is lost <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo-->

    Actually if you have pretty low health and you get redeemed into a wall, theres a chance that you can get redeemed again if you aren't being healed. Got me out of a couple bad situations.

    Just remember that an onos can crouch an get over a lot.

    Well, IIRC Onos arent supposed to be able to use redemption ANYWAY, so problem solved if they fix that.

    In the tooltip about Redemtion it says

    Redemption works and should work fine with Onos, and that's how it's intended.

    Although I'm not sure if they'll change this a bit in future releases, because it seems a bit unfair to me...

    About the "Getting-Stuck"-Problem: I usually can duck-jump over structures and I never got stuck in walls/ceiliing/floors after Redeeming, only in structures.

    Correct - the tooltip is the mistake here, not the ability. Could you say exactly which hive you get stuck in as an Onos? Getting stuck in geometry was the reason Redemption was originally disabled for Onos - if you could say *where* you were (or, better yet, take a screenshot or have one taken of you) when you got stuck, it will help Flayra to squash this bug altogether.

    Taking Onos is like throwing 76 resources away (6 for upgrades). You get stuck on EVERYTHING.

    I get stuck in the ceiling of ns_nancy, in the hive that has the big bar that has fallen across the floor from the ceiling. I get stuck up in the top part where the bag can fly easy up in the ceiling, but when you get warped back there the ono's gets stuck up there.

    I included a picture of where in the map I got stuck.
