CAL playoff time is here again and this time AMPEDNews.com and Natural-Selection.org are getting involved.

Amped is providing HLTV for every match, and hopefully Natural-Selection.org will be providing the bodies to fill those HLTV seats.

This year's playoffs look like a good group of players/teams and it will be interesting to see from week to week who steps up and performs and who doesn't.

Currently, times/dates and HLTV ips are provided in the article above, but continue to check the announcements forum for any changes/updates.

    I was going to include predictions, and hawthorne had another post that contained some interesting matchup information, but I realized that this entry would be a more appropriate place and would help to keep the main page fairly clean..

    Yes, this should be a great learning experience for all pubbers and lower-end clanners alike. Each of the delta clans scrim around 20+ times a week to get prepped for their matches. This includes practicing on aiming(which is key) but mostly the development of strats. These scrims are used to find out what works well and what doesn't.

    But with the playoff around, clans aren't gonna be throwing fastballs anymore, there are gonna be curve balls at every pitch. It's gonna be really exciting to watch because every single team is there to win even if they know they can't.

    If you are looking to learn how to improve with your clan or just improve in general, I would suggest watching all these games for insight. It will be well worth it.

    The thing that's really interesting that there are both awesome delta matches and awesome omega matches.     Eastern = EST and Pacific = PST

    Eastern time is 5 hours behind GMT. I assume Germany is at least an hour ahead of GMT so add 6 hours to the match time.

    I'd say Eastern time -5h GMT, while CET is +1h GMT.

    So you take Eastern, and add 6 hours to get the time in central european time (or add 5h if you're british).

    Thanks to the American competitive scene for cooperating with our effort to get this publicity. Thanks also to Zunni for suggesting this in the first place to CAL and looking out for the clanners despite the naysayers. Thanks to Amped as well for providing the HLTV servers.
