All I know is that I've downloaded the conversions in the past, only to be plagued by this horrible-looking bugg-assed reload that made the model look like crap.

I just thought the purpous of releasing them was to put out something people would want to download for quality, but I guess I can take any of my half-done items and put them out with a "Done" sticker on it. Everyone will download it then...

Ive tried that b4, it was a pain in the butt to get the slide to look right.

Anyway, the mp5k animations werent that spectacular, but these animations are pretty good. The hand looks a little borked but if I didnt dispise galil's Id use it.

Yea the main problem I have is the bones on my fingers, their all goofed up and using local rotation is a 5 minuite process just to get 1 finger where you want it <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->

I might do a degal later, but prob wont be that one. Until someone releases a 3D max arm rig, no one is going to animate fluidly. Lets all remember that no one is getting paid, to release custom materials, so before you all start flaming fuzzy, you should think about the time he put into doing this.

    PS. Ice was that sarcasm?

i resent that. all my animations are done in milkshape, and IMHO they're fluid <!--emo&--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/mad-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='mad-fix.gif' /><!--endemo--> the latter ones at least
  • The_ThingThe_Thing Join Date: 2003-02-25 Member: 13993Members
Maybe I exaggerated a bit. My point was actually, that even the best milkshape animator wont be able to animate anything better than an animat made in 3D max (in terms of smoothness).

i have to dissagree, and say that either program could be used as well as the other. Also this would probably be why a lot of people animate in milkshape, like myself, ice, fuzzy and others.
