<div class="IPBDescription">First map, dont kill me</div>Right this is my first ns map been working on it for a while and finally got the courage to
post.

Concept of the map:
-Takes place at a research facility that is developing a type of weapon for the TSA's battle against the Kharaa.
-There are three areas in the facility Storage/Cargo area (MS), Water Treatment/Maintence, Research and Development and Testing/Production.
-The facility has been infiltrated by the Kharaa and the TSA are sent in to recover the plans of the new weapon, also to clear the facility.

Give me some critisism, pointers and suggestions but dont kill me please. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":(" border="0" alt="sad-fix.gif" />
Bear in mind some areas look bare and nothing is final.<img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tounge.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":p" border="0" alt="tounge.gif" />

    j/k, look pretty ok for a first map, some obvious texture stuff but you'll learn to get better.     only i can say about this map is : work on it more

    !i know this problem but now listen on one important thing. Your map looks like every room has been created of a box. Try to make the floor maybye more floor!

    and the hive area need more infest to sucess completly.

    ok nexus mate iv changed texture styles alot throughout development, i did say the rooms are bare i.e: there is hardly any detail work done yet.

    I think he needs to work more on STRUCTURE than details like INFESTATION at the moment. PS. How's the decompile going then mate?

    Yeah, it's looking good so far, would love to see it when it's finished and polished.

    i'm sure this map is in its infancy. i cant really offer much ion the way of guidence except to say that the details need to be fleshed out. i'm sure you are aware of this. the details you have added are quite good especially for this stage of develpment keep the same attention to detail through out and you could have a great final product.

    I want an update on this map, it's been long enough since the last post so I'm sure there's more to say on it/see from it. I also wanna see how far you've got in removing the blockiness etc.

    Well i wasnt going to update this thread because it died pretty fast a while ago.
    Im still working on the map have been reworking bland areas as this is my first map EVER. Iv learned alot by making the map and im more motivated now knowing people are interested in whats going on <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/biggrin-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->.

    @Cloist: Well even if you think the map's on its way to the cemetary I wouldn't mind seeing how your actual mapping's coming along...

    I will post some screenies soon but my PSU died last week,but a good friend sent me a replacement,so im just checking the rmfs are ok <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/biggrin-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->.

    Iv been reworking alot of areas with less blocky architecture should be compiling in the next day or two.
