Menu Doesn't Work For Me

hello.. i'm new here... but anyway.
the menu that should popup when you click on mouse2 (it say's so in the tutorial and i ahve that as key in the game) doesn't come up.
the only thing that is coming up is some white text that i can't see what it stands in the top left corner...
what is wrong?

EDIT: it worked.. now it will be a bit more easier to play
