Why use stupid serverlists when servers keep changing all the time? Get another tool that is actually capable of searching for servers.

85% of the time HL simply doesn't work, so I use ASE to find servers, but you can't add parameters in ASE, so I copy the ip to HLSW, it _does have its uses.

Just get .hlla (hlla1110). All in one: server browser, favorites list, a powerful rcon section and direct playersearch using gametiger. No need for x different tools.

no need for such manual labour.
use all-seeing-eye or some other gameserver browser (gamespy, pingtool).

You mean commandline parameters like -console, +sv_cheast 1 etc.?

If so, you CAN add parameters in ASE.

There isn't many things ASE can't do. Its very nice.
