Turret Issues

<div class="IPBDescription">...Proall brought up before...</div> This has probabally been posterd before but pfft.
I was playing commander in a game last night. I thnk the map was ns_eclipse... and my team was tryin to build turrets on an elevated section of the map (There is a shaft with a ladder leading up to the bacterium) anyway, we had the turret factory down the bottom of the ladder but when i tried to build turrets on top of the ladder they seemed to sink throught the floor?!? has anyone noticed this yet?
P.S. Yes, the turrets were in range and were deployed etc etc. It showed an animation of them sinking throught the floor. . . <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='confused.gif'><!--endemo-->

    more then turrets sink down into the ground. All types of structures can sink, alien or marine.

    i think things sink into the ground if you put them on a sloped surface or hanging off the edge of a surface.

    I've never seen alien structures sink through mesh, I tried it, and I don't think it has to do with slopedge... I think its uust the marine turrets, but only some. It would matter if you could shoot through grating/railings, but you can't.

    nope, I've lost several defense turrets on ns_eclipse station access (not the sloped part)

    Well, I saw an alien defense chamber sink when I built it in a narrow ventilation shaft.
