<div class="IPBDescription">thoughts?</div> Okay so the nfsu 2 demo is out on <a href='http://www.eagames.com/official/nfs/underground2/us/editorial.jsp?src=downloads' target='_blank'>eagames</a> and wanted to see if any of you have played it yet and if you liked it. I for one think it's a great demo and I cant wait for the full game <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->

One more thing I wanted to know, do you use auto or manual gears? Manual for me, takes more skill and you get more control over your car.

And post your track times if you can <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    Tried it even though racers more complex than Mario Kart tend to go over my head. In free roaming mode I kept pressing "f" from time to time to get out of my car and go on a rampage... but every time it turned out not to be GTA. Maybe if that franchise weren't on PS2 it'd have these kind of graphics...

    GameSpot worked pretty well for me. I'm a user, but I think dlx.gamespot.com lets anyone download. I got about 123kbps.

    I hated the first one. This is probably going to be the same with a few added goodies.

    It's ok. It feels alot different that NFSU1, somehow the car seems to slide more, so it's harder to control. I also find the radar (looks alot like GTA) and speedometer a bit too big. Anyway, the best score I managed to get on drift is 183k. I would have gotten 200k if I wouldn't have messed up so much at the end...

    I just noticed that you also get way too much Nitro. After racing for a bit I managed to get 52s as a best lap. Normail difficulty is still as easy as in the first game :/.
