Need Help Installing The Game!

<div class="IPBDescription">Someone help me plz!!!</div> K I downloaded the game...then i went to install it i put it in this folder: C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\MY EMAIL@hotmail.com\half-life...and it said "folder already exists, would u like to continue anyways"... so i clicked yes and then it starts to install and it gets like half way then it says "c:\program files\steam\steamapps\MY EMAIL@hotmail.com\half-life\ns\sound\ambience\ambient09.mp3, An error occured while trying to copy a file: the source file is corrupted"....then it asks me to Abort, Retry or Ignore...

Can someone help me...is it happening cuz of where i got the download from or do i need the first version of NS or wut???SOMEONE PLZ HELP!!!

    "source file is corrupted" generally suggests that the download is messed. Re-download it, preferably from a different source. (Just in case it's the server).

    if you only have downloaded the ns_beta4a or something like that then yes you do need the first one. go to www.natural-selection.org and just download the one that is first.if that isnt the problem just take out the thing that has an error and delete it and then install again if. if that doesnt work then i dont know.

    I think you should probally communicate which download link was corrupted to the powers that be so they can correct it.
