Why I Hate Console Gamers
Because of pieces of crap like GTA:SA.
Here are some quotes of my friend, about why GTA : SA is going to be better than HL2:

Scripting! WOW! Games have had that for... what? Ever? And realistic planes \o/ WOW! That must have been so hard to make. WOW! STORYLINE! 2 people fighting over a parachute! AMAZING! Look at HL2's storyline...
3 cities! AMAZING! Then some other complete ****... Hmm oh em gee. AN EXTRA 50 buildings! Of which you can actually go in 2! A WHOLE 2!
I <b>must</b> buy GTA : SA because it's going to be AMAZING. Nothing like that HL2 crap, with what's looking like a brilliant storyline, graphics, brilliant physics engine, teamplay...
EDIT - I don't actually hate console gamers. I like alot of console only games. It just annoys me because this person is saying that the change from GTA 3 -> GTA:SA is a much more significant change than HL -> HL2.

But anyway, yeah, grow up, people have differing opinions. Imho, GTA3 and VC were fantastic games, lots of things to do and a hell of a lot of fun to be had. If you don't like GTA:SA, don't buy it, and if you have an opinion that conflicts with someone else's, please don't spend the time to furnish us with the details, we don't care.

Even though I am a console gamer.... I have to agree. Deus Ex 2 was almost an insult to Deus Ex 1.

Er, no, there are many communities for many games. You think the Halo fanboyism grew from the PC port? HAH!

Yeah, so do joysticks which we use to play most arcade games, no, wait, they're the same thing except smaller and easier to control leaving other fingers to do other things at the same time.

As with a lot of games. There's only a handful of games that do actually have a modding community compared to the amount of games released.

Lemmie go put my Half-Life CD in a mac, no, wait, my PC is also incompatible with other systems.
Oh of course, i love my PC over my consoles, but then again, i really like my consoles too. Sitting behind me i have a Gamecube, PS2 and Xbox, packed in the room next to this i have a PSX, SNES, Megadrive, Dreamcast and N64.
PC offers a lot of things, aside from gaming, but console games tend to be more fun to have your friends over for a few multiplayer games. Each of the times i've tried spare of the moment LANs have been pretty disasterous, i've got 3 mid to high spec computers and a high spec laptop in the house, but all the time spent installing games, setting up servers, etc, etc, it's so much more of a hassle than throwing a disc into the tray, turning on the power and just start playing straight away, nothing but a console can offer that.
Esuna is right but also incomplete. My PC is custom built and I don't have to illegally mod it to make it do cool things. That's what I meant. Thumbsticks are definitely inferior to the USB optical mouse. If you don't believe me find a way I can link to a XBox and play you in Halo. My tracking and accuracy is just better with it.
PS: The only time I use my joystick is when playing a flight sim, like game or say I'm in BF1942 and jump in a plane.
Halo PC is probably the worst PC coversion i've seen (On par with SH4's control system). Also, it took them 2 years to do that. <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->

GTA:SA isn't coming out on the PC?
I don't like GTA3/VC/whatever that much, but they are certainly a right laugh. I have yet to see any of the GTA games beat GTA2.
Why does there have to be this debate over which is better? Does it matter? I play NS/CS/other PC games, and while I'm waiting to spawn I play CROC; The Legend of the Gobbos!
Damn that has to be one of the best games ever. Gobbo = cutest thing in the world.
