    my suggestion: read the stratigies. They help. They really help. ANd another is to lern to "leap bite" it helps on co maps so you can get focus faster 9focus being an upgrade through sens that makes 1st slot (bite on skulks) more powerful) great game i love it hope you do too!

    Focus is a good way to get kills in NS:Combat when you're learning, but don't rely on it too heavily. When you get more into standard NS you more than likely won't have the luxury in the early game (the most frequent chamber order on pub servers tends to be Defense, Movement, then Sensory).

    Give NS:Combat (maps starting with co_ ) a shot first to get the feel of the marine technologies and alien lifeforms, then have a go at the full game.
