    So true. Start with rines, since they resemble other games the most. However, a critical difference between NS and Halo: You can't kill all the enemies alone. Move in teams as marine. You'd be suprised how many self-proclaimed "Experts" don't understand this simple fact. <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/confused-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    Though the last few posts were information overload for a newbie like me! And yes, I tried the Kharaa first but now play as the Marines currently. Am just browsing through a couple of the guides I've found linked here/posted here for a little while.

    just keep playing mate, classic is very very good much more deeper than combat, if u want an intelligent game of NS i recommend classic NS (maps that start off with ns_)

    you mite find them boring to start with go to the YOClan or Brys servers their quite good with a lot of experienced players.

    maps mite seem big but more u play them the smaller they get mate
