and the subway jumping puzzle...erm, the room with bats, is there actually a way to do it without just jumping like mad and hoping the bats don't cluster around the exit? the quest/treasure reward seems crappy too...

I'll be on most of tomorrow methinks. But don't worry I don't really need any. I love building up from nothing on my own and giving to other players. Just a habit I have because the only games I have ever really been good at, I've had someone waaay back when I started playing mentor my lazy self.
Don't worry about giving any of that stuff to me, but if you want, maybe we could hang out in game. I was dead bored the last hour or so I played because Gem was right about one thing, the game is like a giant chatroom, if you focus plainly on powerleveling, it loses all appeal.
Is the server down tonight? it's midnight central time, and the program wont open, only says cannot connect to login server, with a link to the webpage, which is also out of commision.

that seems to imply that yes, indeed, the server is down. it usually goes down for 5-10 minutes every once in a while to do a server update.
as some of you may or may not know, during the last server check/update the removed the taxi cab from lith harbour, now you actually have to walk out into the spooky places with the snails if you want to get to your respective hometown in order to get your job advancement.

( Oh and Thansal calculated that the best order of things is to spend the initial point on energy bolt, and then five points(ie at this point you will be l10) on mp regen, and THEN... max out mp increase. Because you get additional mp max points without spending one of your 5 stat points on mp increasage. When it is maxed, free choice. Best to get magic claw to level 4 or somewhere near that, and then max out mp regen. )
