    I count 8 but will be more with the way hl cuts brushes, anyhow ms looks alot better, but i wouldn't use basic HL computer textures.

    Wow, this is like being on acid. O_o

    Reading the first page or so, I wanted to reply with some offhand witty snarl, but I decided to read on... and then suddenly he comes up with Da Vinci architecture that <b>works</b>... wow.

    I take my hat off to you.


    Only thing you need to learn is to do proper texturing, and that map will at least <b>look</b> beautifull. Can't say much about the playability though.

    Ohh, and maybe add some more detail to the floors, they look rather flat. For the MS for instance, you could place the CC on a slightly raised platform.

    Actually I think the red computer just about works, but either indent it into the wall or pull it out a bit, at the moment it looks too flat.

    Remember not to put too many things in the MS, the Marines still have to build things you know...

    It might look even more interesting if it wasn't for the lighting that lacks contrast. Add more shadows. Uhh.. I just noticed you haven't shown us compiled shots of marine start yet.. well, my opinion is still the same.

    Try not to use the same texture on EVERYTHING.

    First off, increase either increase the gamma, or you need more lighting.. As it is now, i'd have to say it's pretty bland.. IMO lose the transparent computers, and the glass on top of the controls looks rather out of place... And what is that yellow and red square in the first picture?

    I thinking to make a colony structure like the biodome in the england, is a soccer ball structure (with hexagon and pentagon to make the ball). Each face are glass only the edges are metal, with this hull making a colony sphere this open area never saw in ns, with aliens in side the soccer ball structure and a sky aroud and some montains.

    hard to do at best... impossible at worst

    why?- because aliens would be slaughtered in the hallways (long distances) and the domes (wide open spaces)

    Lerks and Fades would kick butt... so would JP's...
