I think her band did it on purpose. They started playing another song's music just to probably screw her over. The band sounds good, just not her. Never know, she could have said something mean to them or did something to screw them over, and they got revenge.

Their popularity peeked when they did a guest spot on the Super Mario 3 cartoon show, in which Princess Toadstool is infatuated with them, they come to the Mushroom Kingdom to do a concert, and are thus kidnapped by Bowser and his kids, whose daughter is also infatuated with them.

But to me that doesnt really mean much. She was just born with the natural ability to sing.
As a musician she is way down the list. I highly doubt she writes her own songs, cant play any instrument and I would say she doesn't make any decisions about her career or her music herself. She isn't the talent behind her musical career. She's just the voice.

I don't claim to be a great singer. I just hate the way pop culture has changed society's view of music. She makes millions with that, and yet I am sure there are a thousand poor people who could do a better job who will never gain recognition because they don't have the name.

Depends on your point of view and defination of 'talent'
As i see it, she may well have talent as a singer. But to me that doesnt really mean much. She was just born with the natural ability to sing.
As a musician she is way down the list. I highly doubt she writes her own songs, cant play any instrument and I would say she doesn't make any decisions about her career or her music herself.
She isn't the talent behind her musical career. She's just the voice.

I don't claim to be a great singer. I just hate the way pop culture has changed society's view of music. She makes millions with that, and yet I am sure there are a thousand poor people who could do a better job who will never gain recognition because they don't have the name.
