<div class="IPBDescription">Welders</div> Are they intended to do incredible amounts of damage to alien buildings? Because currently, that's how it is.
the welder is a beast of a meele weapon! Few commanders have yet to realize this fact <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wink.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='wink.gif'><!--endemo--> It can kill a few skulks before you die, or rip apart alien buildings. But against big guys, it sucks. In short, ya, it is suposed to do that!
Its also used for repair buildingd and marine armor sealing and unsealin passage ways. It is also a very strong melee weapon like Comprox said. But the game thinks the alien killed himself with the blow torch even though the marine killed him with it.
