<div class="IPBDescription">please read...</div> So I happened to join the alien team, and we were actually doing incredibly well during the early-mid game <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->

Then this character named odium joins alien team.
What starts happening? Immediately our hive is under attack.
That's right, as a skulk, he spent the entire game hitting our structures with parasite.

What's worse than that you say? Get this...

For the rest of the round, he mic spams that little sailor song beat over and over AND OVER AGAIN!

So I know the dev's are prolly already aware of the problem with TK'ing your own buildings, this is just to reiterate that.
But PLEASE, for the love of god and all that is NS/holy, please put muting into the next patch. My ears demand it! <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='confused.gif'><!--endemo-->

    I ran into a micspam idiot just now. A quick fix is to put "voice_enable 0" into console. This turns off ALL voice, but it's worth it with lamers like that.
    Also, if you turn it back on, you only hear NEW voicecomms, so if the idiot is holding down his talk key, you won't hear him until he lets up. Which means if he's playing that damn sailor song constantly, you won't hear it anymore.

    You could always just mute him by clicking his name on the scoreboard.

    Heheh. The TKing of your own buildings with parasite or some other weapons is fixed in 1.02 (about to be released). The muting will have to wait for 1.1, the next client update (a couple weeks away).

    Why do you even play at non-admined servers?

    Let's face it, there are enough poor little people who feel their only way to get *any* attention is by ruining the fun for others, enough to make sure there is one on every server in the world, so make sure you are at a server that kicks/bans them.

    You can't expect to have a nice and friendly game on just any server, that's like thining that a pub with no age-limit or bouncers is going to be a great place to party.

    I'm pretty sure you can mute someone with a console command, I just wish I could remember what it is!!! As far as I know, when you click on someones speaker icon in other mods, it simply does a console command on them for you. So you could technically find that command and do it by hand.     Thank you! some myg0t fool killed the marines base in when I was a alien. Then he came back with a new wonid I might add and attacked our hive. He continued to do this and he kept coming back after he was banned it was a real pain. He destroyed one of our hives when he was a alien nearly killing us till we got it back up.     yah in some mods you click on their speaker thing next to their name on scoreboard and it mutes them. they should make a kickban vote thing that works the same way.

    Yes but if they add kickban a myg0t can start a kickban against a innocent person I have seen that happen in other mods.

    Muting doesn't work in my copy of HL when running NS.

    Bringing up the scoreboard and clicking simply fires my weapon, unless I'm in the ready-room - but when in the ready-room, it won't let me mute anyone. ;-)

    A bigger problem seems to be people who jump on servers and start Voice-ing..

    "I NEED A HMG. AND ARMOR. AND A HMG. HMG. AT BASE. HMG. HMG. ARMOR. I NEED ARMOR AT BASE. ARMOR. ARMORARMORARMOR. I NEED ARMOR AND A HMG AT BASE. HMG. HMG AND ARMOR. HMG. ARMOR. AT BASE. HMG. HMG. ARMOR. AT BASE..." ad infinitum.

    OMG Odium was bragging about this to his myg0t buddies for hours. They all made fun of him...

    U see I usually hang around myg0t IRC and forums myself.... for entertainment purposes... Odium is their **obscenity** hahahahhahahahah. He was doing this to gain respect amoungst myg0t but nothing has changed he is still picked on by them all day long.... All I can do is laugh at odium's n00bish stupidity....

    You should not have even posted this... Odium is so happy now that his **obscenity** is made public.

    You should have seen what he made to brag too.

    This is what is called a rage collage and it is one of the worst I have seen by far.

    Its shameful to the myg0t name he should not even be representing myg0t cause he sucks.

    BTW For the record most of the people on myg0t play this game legitimately. Only 2 or 3 ppl are trying to ruin it.... 1 of those people being a true myg0t and the rest being total fgts.

    Also myg0t is a religious bible study group they don't take part in such stupid things such as cheating and tkign in games to ruin them.
