However, if it is true, it's a bug.
Ur Kharaa.
U turn on flashlight.
U see cloaked Kharaa.
Activating flashlight as a marine does nothing but make you glow like a lightbulb.
However, I've been hearing that if a Marine SHINES A FLASHLIGHT AT A CLOAKED KHARAA - then it'll appear, ghosted, like with level 1 Cloaking or something.
Anyone care to shed some light on this?

Oh god, I just realised what an awful pun that was <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->

I can't vouch for lvl 1 and 2 cloak, however....
Kharaa flashlight - gives off no light, allows you to see all friendly units and buildings equally well regardless of lighting or cloaking, allows you to partially see through chambers and the like, so you can watch marines
running around on the other side of a wall of lame.
Marine flashlight - plain old ordinary flashlight from every halflife game/mod out there.
Kharra cloaking - Has 3 levels of cloak, depending on whether they have 1, 2 or 3 sensory chambers (any extra wont have an effect). At level 1, they are only half transparent. They still stick out like a sore thumb under lighting. At level 2 they have a faint outline, allowing the to possibly get away with sitting on a roof or high wall but any marines who is actually looking for them/runs into them will see and shoot them. Lvl 3, I can stand in the middle of your base spamming the chuckle command and you will never see any part of me no matter what you do (the only person capable of stopping me from doing this is your commander, who should be smart enough to place an observatory in every base/hive.
