  Obviously there are some Wave-files missing. Maybe the server uses custom WAVs that you somehow haven't downloaded yet?
  
  Check if u got cl_allowdownload "0" or something like that... If it doesn't work, then try to connect without sounds (nosound "1") and see if it still fails.

  Was the map on the server at the time a custom map? Also, did you try playing on a different server?

  stop playing on this server. just play on a server with no people or something. just to see if it works.

  have you tried different servers? (you never actualy answered this question)
  
  download from a different place and reinstall.
  
  do not reinstall any custom models/sounds/anytihng.
  
  Do you get this when hosting a server?

  I also have seen this numerous times in my console: <b>Missing RIFF/WAVE chunks</b>To date I have no explanation for it.
