<div class="IPBDescription">It's a pack! of structures!</div>Finally, an entire pack. It has nine models, the ones listed below. I didn't do a turret factory, sentry turret, or seige turret; they've been done before, and pretty well too. If you want them, I suggest Ollj's low poly <a href="http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=31153" target="_blank">pack</a>, or Arson's low poly turret <a href="http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=37416" target="_blank">pack</a>.
The combined total of all of these models is 1212 polys. The combined total of the default models is 3575 polys. That means these models are a scant 34% of the orginal polycount. You could build three bases for the price of one! And you should!
Armory: 156 polys
Arms Lab: 116
Command Console: 177
Infantry Portal: 75
Observatory: 164
Phase Gate: 104
Prototype Lab: 158
Resource Nozzle: 48
Resource Tower: 214

Great job!
More FPS, here i come!
[<b>EDIT</b>]:
Typo
Really nice work <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile-fix.gif' /><!--endemo--> I can handle full detail NS, but I used to have to run really badly. This'll help people like my past self, and for that I thank you.
Now I shall pwn you ALL again!
Lol, actually, I've been playing the past 3 or so months with all HIGH poly models... and as a result... at around 5-15 FPS... average of 10 XD
Now, I might actually be able to SEE what I'm attacking, so my 20/21 score as a marine will become a 40/11 score once again!
Thank you man, these are THE best low poly models I've seen EVER
i play competetive basically always, i rarely play pub, so i guess no. cbf with two installs <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->
*setting up the queue <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->*
Thank you!
These are low poly versions aimed at people having what kind of old PCs ?
Anything less then Pentium-III ?
Anything less then 500Mhz ?
With today's prices, upgrading a PC doesn't costs that much.
P.S.: I do not intend to start a thread war, so don't do it. I just want to know.
This pack is made for 3 kinds of people:
1) People who seriously don't have the money to upgrade their computer. (These people probably recieved their current computer as a gift.)
2) People who use a computer that isn't theirs (Like their parent's, or their friend's)
3) People who can't access their computer's innards (Like me, or other storebought desktop computers that are under warranty but don't have a 3d accelerator)
As far as actual specs... it's tough to say. Just offhand, I'd guess that anyone with a PIII or Athlon paired with a GeForce2 (non-MX) or Radeon 7500 would be okay without these. With just barely these specs, they might want a low poly turret pack from seeing fps drops near turret farms.
