    To install batchcompiler300beta do you uninstall/delete BatchCompiler2031, or leave it alone?

    You're trying to use an older spec file. You have to create a new one for 3.0, older ones aren't compatible.

    Great topic but your batch compiler link is out of date, you can now find it at <a href='http://countermap.counter-strike.net/Nemesis/files/files/batchcompiler300.exe' target='_blank'>http://countermap.counter-strike.net/Nemes...compiler300.exe</a>

    It looks like half the posts on this thread are about this and wven though it has been said in an earlier post I will clarify the answer.

    <!--QuoteBegin--></div><table border='0' align='center' width='95%' cellpadding='3' cellspacing='1'><tr><td><b>QUOTE</b> </td></tr><tr><td id='QUOTE'><!--QuoteEBegin-->"Error (8): Expected "Batch" or "Stage", got "Setup" "<!--QuoteEnd--></td></tr></table><div class='postcolor'><!--QuoteEEnd-->

    <span style='font-size:21pt;line-height:100%'><span style='color:yellow'>Use Zoners Tools Advanced from the "Specifications" drop down menu.</span></span>

    Thats a poor answer, the problem arises when you use a config for an old version of BC with BC3. As it works differently it won't work together, as such just select a specification from the drop down menu and start a fresh.
  • TheQTheQ Join Date: 2004-08-30 Member: 31034Members, Constellation
    Ok guys, Im only getting to step 2 of the BC setup

    "2) Under the "Specifications" menu on the menubar, select "Zoners Custom Build Backup HLFix OptPlns".

    and when i select this I get this message ------>Error 8: Expected "include" or "define" or "batch etc...

    Any Ideas?

    Ta

    I take it your using BC 3.0? Have you looked at the two posts preceding yours?

    If thats not the problem, try selecting "Zoners Tools Normal" from the specification menu, thats the most basic specification, but has most things you'll need.
