What times are you guys normally on? I'd like to party up and get some real killin' done. The fruit knife of justice is doing well by itself, but with the help of other blades/clubs/babies, I could exterminate all wildlife on the island!

Where's Maple Story install to? I can't find it and I took some screens.

Edit, I found it, but it seems as though my screens weren't saved. How can I open a .wz file? I'm guessing that's where the game's music is stored. And I'm lovin' the music.

Well, there's some monster's that suck if you're not strong enough, and you might take the wrong route, plus some places you need to know which direction to go or you'll run into those sucky monsters. Damn pigs. Either that or you could take the Cab in the Harbor, but that's not as fun. I could also show you my leveling up grounds, Tree Stumps give 10 or 15 EXP, and are really slow, and I found a spot where there's the masses of them.

One problem I've seen already is the lack of heads. There's an ugly one, a very ugly one, and a decent one that 98% of the server seems to use.

The Hats and whatnot really make up for it. When you're on Isla Nubler, you don't really have a chance to customize your character[other than the hat you get from Maria's quest], so everyone's a walking clone.

There's actually a fair few haircuts and faces but you only get to pick 3 at the start... the others are gained via plastic surgery or a visit to the barber ^^;
Alas both cost real money (probably 50p or something lol) and the cash system isn't active for the beta for obvious reasons... =3
Plenty of clothes to mess with in the meantime though including hats 'n stuff <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile-fix.gif' />

There's other islands too but you can only access victoria (the mainland or at least I think it's called victoria) and maple (which you can't go back to when you leave ^^; ).
I think there's about 4 other islands in the final game according to the signs I saw at the port in ellion =D

As for the jist of the classes...

warrior = omg melee damage
mage = omg ranged damage and funky buffs/debuffs
bowman = omg best ranged
thief = jack/jill of all trades =3

Thieves split into two types; assassins (ranged star throwers) and bandits (knifey knifey!!!) and while neither outdamage specialists they're very good at getting where they want to with hide and haste plus a couple of other handy utility abilities like a passive that increases your chances of dodging and hitting ^^

I didn't play it cause Gem recommended it. I played it because I like free mmo's and I saw other forum goers on. Then after Liku, Gwahir and myself joined up, we had a blast. So yeah, maybe if you gave it a chance instead of dismissing it for level grind, which all RPG's have, you might like it. Partying makes a world of difference.

I really hope bowman is a little more fun.

And I find it quite lame that they don't tell you what you need for each job beforehand, so now I'm at level 8, and can only go bowman in any sort of timeframe.
