So what's a good peer to peer downloading client these days? I haven't used one in ages (since you could still get kazaa-lite) and want one to start accumilating e-books

that Azureus looked pretty good, since it's in a format i'm familur with, but the damn thing keeps crashing my comp. I'll be going along fine with a download, then BAM i'm rebooting.
Did i miss configure something? is this due somehow to my firewall? any help or links to help forums would be good.

Its a toucthy subject, as long as it stays legal aka no where can i download this track etc then its ok.

Didn't the court just declared p2p legal? Just downloading something that is not free is illegal.

Well Blizzard for sure and maybe other companies are already using BitTorrent networks to distribute their files, legally (I'm not talking about full games or anything. Just patches or demos). That's legal; it's simply a new method of file distribution.
What's illegal is what is *usually* distributed using these new methods.

well it's not illegal to have a ptop client of any sort, so i don't see how i would be upsetting forum rules about asking where i could get one.

I'll try using the original bit torrent. to see if any issues crop up.

    google this:

    bit torrent bsod

    then you will understand all

aka: BT is one nasty piece of code that overtaxes most network hardware, and if there is a bug, you can say hi to mister BSoD (you need to update some drivers/firmware)
