<div class="IPBDescription">A step by step guide</div> The 60th NS on Hl2 thread has inspired me to created this step by step guide, yes folks...On how to use the search button.
o <i>Step One: How to find the search button.</i>
Click on a forum section, like say General Discussion. Scroll your way down to the bottom of the page until you see something that looks like this:

o <i>Step Two: How to use the search button.</i>
Type in what you are looking for. For this example I have picked "NS on Hl2"
Do not be overly specific. You will usually be far more successfull if you are vague.
"Natural-selection Custom Alien model pack" wont get as many results as "Alien pack"
Also dont forget to be forum section specific. you wont find many "NS on Hl2" threads in the custom forum.
Once you have entered your details, press the "Go" button. For the Logically challenged amongst you:

If you see something like this:

Do not panic! this is perfectly normal. This means you have successfully used the search button. We've come a long way now, but we need to complete the final step:
o <i>Step Three: Getting results.</i>

Congratulations you have results! Now all you have to do from this point on is choose which threads you believe will answer your question.

1: I Cant find it, so I assume so.
2: The search function wont like that.
3: AND and OR seem to work, but I cant be certain.
