It hasn't affected my playing style much at all.

Seeing as I don't play Combat.

Was there really a need for that?

I usually play gorge or skulk.
It does make it a lot harder to be a gorge when your hive is under attack. If you ever die, good luck making to back to gorge.

I was already a conservative Alien player, trying not to give the marines much exp to use back against me. Hit-run Fade, eat-run Onos.

With the cheaper Onos and the better redem now, I go redem-onos and just charge in, not bothering to eat. Good change <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->

Yea, I can go early lerk now and still go fade later.

I tend to stay skulk longer than I used to. In pub matches (where you can throw your life away and not care), I would go Lerk ASAP and it would take a few levels of sporing, going in, killing something, and dying before I had enough upgrades to start making the escape as well.

In organized play, I went lerk soley to spore the living crap out of the marines, as to avoid raising the marine kill count. My playstyle hasn't changed much there.
