R_detailtextures ...

<div class="IPBDescription">dun work</div> i got this detailtexture-pack for ns butt it doesn't realy work...when i open the console in the game and type in r_detailtextures 1 i can see the textures changing into the detail version but when i close the console the detailtexture just disappear. is it cuz the config.cfg is reseting or somethin? i added the userconfig.cfg and changed in there 2 but still dun work? somebody know what im doin wrong?

(sry about my english im from germany u'know...)

    Have you read the beta 5 changelog?
    They locked r_detailtextures to 0 cause people could make their own wallhack with it.

    oh realy? hm i probably didnt noticed that int the changelog.....2 bad i saw some before-after images and it looked realy cool. i hope theres a possibilty to fix that wallhack thing by still beinga ble to activate detailtextures... well thx for answer
