Combat Xp

<div class="IPBDescription">hmph</div> i was wondering why in some servers, combat xp is gained when just hiting another player and not neccesarily killing them. i was wondering if there is a cvar to make it do this, it seems to be off by default because when i hit osmeone i dont gain xp, also i was wondering how to raise the combat levels fomr 10 max to 21 max. ty

    To my knowledge, there is no way (other than a plugin) to make XP in combat damage-based. I believe Zunni said that it wouls cause too much strain on a server.

    You can only have more than ten levels if the server uses a plugin to raise the max level.

    What probably happened was you were close enough to a teammate who killed someone to gain some free xp.
