sorry for being away from teh forums, in-laws + flu + work == not alotta time. back on the manual and such tonight. and please, don't waste my time with useless garble 'fun' pictures.
There are quite a few excellent ones here. But I'm afraid I will need them with DEFAULT crosshairs with NO plugins. If you haven't posted your screenshot, there is still time. Thanks for all your help folks <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->
Where and what are the settings for maximum possible image quality? Like that anziotropical filtering and stuff? What's the best resolution? FPS is no object.
I also play with a completely, utterly clean download. The only alteration is an alias that starts me at 2.0 lightgamma. Do you think I should mess with the lightgamma a little for these? A number like 2.3 or 2.2 is just a little lighter than 2.5, but allows for easier-to-see screenies.
Do you need diagrams? Someone needs to make an autocad image of the Nancy vents to illustrate the superior mobility allowed by skulks' smaller size and ability to go almost anywhere on the map.
It would be really easy to take these pictures if there was a third person free roaming camera. Isn't there some trickery in console you can enter in order to get something like that? Because trying to take screenshots while playing side by side is a good way to be no help at all to your surrounding teammates, which they tend to resent.
Anyone wanna start a 12 person sv_cheats photo-op server? :D plz?
The reason I ask about third person free roaming cameras is because you can illustrate things like how to hang just above a doorway waiting for a marine, with both the skulk and the marine further in the distance behind the doorway in the same shot. Or get into positions you wouldn't normally be able to playing as the other team or even playing at all and take all the shots you want.
I'm a photography major, so this naturally appeals to me. Just tell me what settings to put everything at, where to find them to put them on the right settings, and I'll try to do some work for you.
I wish I could make this commission work, but nobody pays money for screenshots. :( Maybe if I framed them?
I would like more shots to choose from for marine classic, alien classic and combat, and commander HUDs. Many of these shots are great, but have slight problems with them (swearing in them, custom plugins, no crosshairs).
Thanks again folks <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->

This is someone as a Fade in this shot. They were swiping at the time, so you can't really see it... <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/confused-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->

I took all of these shots from a match on ns_metal I observed. Hope you can find some use for these, and of course I can supply the original .bmp screencapture. These were just reduced and dithered so they didn't take up alot of room.
This first one is [I hope] a nice picture of a Fade in action:

What is it with me and fade/pistol shots? <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->

I'll be sure to nab some shots once I fix my real comp..
FYI I have all of these in 1600x1200 uncompressed bitmaps.
