V5 Sucks, Sorry To Be Saying It But It Really Does

the new update is horrible and gives the marines a very unfair advantage, its also much laggier than v4, will these things and many other bugs be fixed in the next update? or can we just go back to v4??,.....

i dont mean to be mean or anything cuz i kno u guys worked really hard on it but v5 is horrible.....

one way to achieve the alien evolve system could be to let people choose in the evolution menu if they want thier points reset or if they want to keep it......

im really looking forward to v6.........

Combat is balanced "soo well" that 1/10 games are not draw. ITs hardly inposible to play it now. Now its all about mt+gl spam vs cloak and focus. Its realy hard to play a good game not losing your nerves to games like that. About the lag its not soo bad. I didnt fellt any difrens in b4a and beta5. Im waiting for beta6.

New version seems fine to me. If it was horrible, servers would simply use b4a, and you could play on those.

I have on many occasions, they ingnore me, I tell them more, they delete my posts, I have played NS for well over a year and many hours a week, and yet they call me a noob and say I dont know what Im talking about.

Hence I really cba to try and explain to them anymore. Ive given up now.

B5 is more of a bugfix patch than a balance patch. When will people learn that?

fine, so you guys can ignore me one last time, or say I am only playing against nubs...

General:

Firstly, I shoot the same vanilla skulk 3 times with SG and it doesnt die (you say my aim sux?)

Same with bad registery on all weapons. I started to use my knife all the time. Its gotten stupid recently, and Im not the only one complaining about it but hey what do we know.

I am attacking comm chair with swipe and I am getting 9/10 registery, same with other structures. But it is a stationary target surely it should be 100% (you say the server i play on sux?)

They still didnt fix the fact that you make noise if your strafe/turn to fast etc holding walk as skulk. This really annoys me. Lerk is so exploitable, binding mouse wheel to jump and flying up and down can make it impossible to hit.

Combat:

Redemp cara onos is impossible to kill, you havnt got time to reload your HMG before it is back

Level 10 fade is so extremely overpowered its not even funny.

Aliens are far overpowered in co in general.

NS:

Silly spawn bug where the team doesnt spawn at the start of the game, can be extremely annoying as marines, no idea what so ever how the play testers managed to miss that one.

I tell ya, b5 is very balanced.

You know why?

Because there are a large amount of whiners on both sides, one saying aliens can't win anymore, the other saying marines can't win anymore.

wether people realize it or not, b5 takes up alot more cpu usage that ever before. With all the new <i>useless</i> sounds that the devs take pride in the servers are starting to wear under the stress. (so to speak). Ill start out a game with 100 fps and a good ping, by the end of the game the servers general ping is up anywhre from 50 - 150 higher than when the game started and my general fps is ~60. It wasn't like that in 3.0b4a. As for actual game play in combat any decent player can go onos in 3 minutes. I may be wrong in saying this but wasnt onos 5 points in beta 4a and not 4? 1 for gorge, 2 for fade, and 2 more for onos... With the extra armor and upgrade, the onos is literally unstoppable because even if he dies he'll be back with full armor and hp in ~40 seconds. A bit unbalanced but what can you do.

Sorry to tell you, no member of the dev team would ever call you or anyone else a nub.

We have respect for our players and while we may not implement all the solutions to preceived problems, we do pay attention..
