Control Room for fuel

I actually had a couple of more pictures...but those areas are in work and I dont think they look good enough to post yet.

i really liked the first screenie! but i think the 3rd [the control for the fuel room i think?] is kinda.. too simple.. it looks like an old cs kind of map.. no offense! just a comment

The first screen looks really nice and gritty. You might want to try finding some nicer fitting textures though I think.

jaMz is right - the third screen does look abit like he says. I would hold that to the lighting you have there. It's far too bland, but as you said it is in work.

The second screen looks quite nice, a big fuel room. Does any of that thingy move? Also it looks quite dark.

In that first picture, why is the top of the two stacked crates slanted?

In pictures 1 & 3 the lighting looks a little flat. The trim around the bid goor in picture could be aligned better and the left hand door would look better with some trim brushes. The control room looks downright boxy. Angle the control surfaces a little, darken the main light, add a dim light in front of each monitor, put some trim brushes around window & add some chairs (nick the ones from hera).

Nice start, I liked the cracked crate and the red lights (do they spin?).

[edit]
Humb1ed, I think the slanted crates are a regular crate that is part crushed by the door coming down

Updated the Third picture...hit refresh if it isnt changed

Yeah in the first picture the lights rotate and that crate is smashed by the door coming down.

Im toying with the light in the control room to make it a bit dimmer and ill probably update that picture agian soon.

[UPDATE] I updated it agian for a third time...hit refresh if its still showing an older one...i think this is the lighting im gonna keep

Oh, if the crate is being crushed add some debris on the floor underneath it, the parts that are broken off.

the thing is...those crates are made of metal and unless under extreme conditions it usually isnt going to break. A thin crate for instance like the ones in the level would bend under the stress.
Thats just a fancy way of saying "but it would raise r_speeds and have very little value in the playing"

Looks nice, especially the first pic. I don't really have any criticism, which I suppose is a good thing. Just giving a thumbs up is sooo boring.

Looks pretty good, the lighting is nice. Unfortunately, I don't think the red grate texture on the ceiling of the 3rd shot really goes well with the rest of the room, especially since the rest of the room is pretty grey overall.
