<div class="IPBDescription">(Excuse any typos, the spacebar is dodgy</div> Problem is simple :
Black Dell keyboard won't accept more than 2 keys at once, if more are pressed it'll stall out for half a second. Very problematic when crouch-jumping and doing anything alongside - its easy to be pushing 3 keys.
White HP keyboard works perfectly fine, but its a piece of crap with horrible design and keys and a dodgy spacebar.
Question :
Any way to fix the Dell KB into working with as many keys as I please? Drivers or so?

start binding more keys to meta keys (ctrl, alt, shift) and mouse buttons, this should alow you to press more keys.
I never run ito this problem (I know it is there b/c it always showes up in emulated games due to the lack of mouse usage)
basicaly figure out what commands you often need t do to gether and then bind out the ones that are often there to the meta/mouse.
Examples:
fire has to be on one of them, most people use mouse1, you probably do also.
Jump is another (if you wish to jump and move/crouch/attack)
crouch is also generaly important
I personal keep +popupmenu on a meta also (alt in my case)
Yah, don't forget to use alt, if you use wasd it is just as easy to get to as space <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->
Oh, and this is why wasd is better then other configs <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->
The best I could do is move my weaponswitch keys to the mouse, but I don't like that idea too much because none except mouse1 (attack) and 2 (triplejump) are very handy.
So uhm, guess I'll go out shopping for a keyboard :/
my jump key is right mouse click. attack is still left mouse. i use mousewheel to switch weapons. when i click the mousewheel it brings up pop up menu. crouch is crontrol.
try that combination. i have a dell keyboard and with my crontrols i do fine.
