The Ns Community Veterans Are Making Me Feel Sick.

Ive been playing ns since the first public release. This of course, gives me no more right to be playing it than the average new player gracing the many servers across the world, unless of course, i have a little gold medal beside my name.
Recently i have been seeing alot of veterans coming into my clans server.Veterans are just like other people right?i have played with alot of vets, but it seems that the majority (allowing of course for the few and far between strains of thoroughly nice vets who i have had the honour of playing with) are snide and pompous, showing contempt for new players starting out in the world of ns, and the more established players, the real veterans who play the game every day.
There is an AMX plug-in to ban veterans on entry to a server as far as im aware, and im sure there is a good reason for this!
so im making an appeal, i dont want to be caned or flamed, but i wish to ask the Veteran players among us to try and understand .... your not better than everybody else simply because of a little icon and your clans ability to send a beta testing application.

Dont give the Veterans a bad name, i know many people who hate veterans simply because of the badge and their previous encounters with the afor described vets.

You would ban people just for having an icon ?
By doing this you say that the vets are worse then normal players, which is wrong becouse you don't know every single vet.
but i suggest you edit out this ---- just to prevent the flame war from erupting ----

yeah.
im not saying all vets should be banned on sight, what im saying is that players with the veteran badge are expected to be ignorant and contemptious. which isnt something i want to see in the ns community.
i stated before that there are good vets out there, thoroughly nice people who help out with the new players etc.
but many of the vets ive come across really are the pits.
So yeah _those_ *vets* are bad.

Alot of the "good" vets actualy auth (thus no icon).

You basing the entire veteran program on a few ignorant and self-centered people isnt fair.

This just in, there are **** in every group of people. In the case of the vets though they're easily recognised because of their icon. Don't stereotype and assume every vet or clanner is like this, 99% are top guys.

I think that i am an nice vet. Never made any offence to new players or any other. So this thread is definitly not about people who are like me because then it would look like this
