Anyone Had A Dream About Ns?

Well I did. After the release of NS, I played it about 20 hours straight without sleeping. When I finally went to bed I had a dream where I was running as skulk around ns_hera. I came to the generator room where there is one resource nozzle and there was one marine in heavy armor and with heavy machine gun. He turned out to be my friend so we started chatting. It looked funny in the dream: Heavy marine and a skulk chatting <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='tounge.gif'> . After a while another skulk came by. He turned out to be another friend of mine. So the three of us talked there for a while and then I decided to leave. I ran towards a ventilation shaft but got stuck from my head <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='biggrin.gif'> . I was very frustrated. Then I woke up.

Another funny thing is that when I woke up about 24:00, I started playing NS again. I played till 05:00 and went back to sleep. After I woke up later during the day, I couldn't tell wether I was dreaming the previous gaming session or was it real...

When the I first started following NS I had a dream about it. I was a marine in a map that dosen't exist(my mind made it up). I was running around with a rocket launcher(something else my mind made up). I was running around fragging people. All the alien classes were off though, just a little abnormal, like the level3 was more of an insect with like mosquito wings and stuff like that. Anyways, I finally enter a ventalation shaft and stumble into a mech warrior style combat mech, so I jump in and start gunning people down. Right about when I start having fun with the mech the dream ends...I was going to kill that hive too! Its not fair!

I've had two since release. The first one was basically just a hall of fades. Everywhere I looked, there was a fade. A little freaky. But not bad. The second one was just weird. I was trying to train a skulk to be a pet. I have no idea why. It was going pretty good until I told him to kill.

Heh, I had a dream about NS PRIOR to release. ^^;; Don't remember much. But:

I was playin' as a Alien, and the Marines were owning it up on this map with like a whole buncha hallways, and was pretty well lit so it made hiding impossible. Anywho, the alien turrets fired rapid fire spikes at our hive that looked like a large square room with a buncha alien looking thingys in it. For the most part, my entire team were Gorges. I have no idea why. Anyways, the Marines were slowly advancing, killing us like they hd that overbalanced resource thing... then I woke up. ^^;;

I've hade one NS dream of which I remember nothing... probably had the dream because I played NS for 21 hours, fell asleep thinking of new NS strategies, then waking up 2 hours later and start playing NS for another 19 hours... <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='tounge.gif'>

Yeah i've had several dreams IN black & white. Like a really old film.
Where you'd see the scene take place and the a screen containin the text appears.

Had another one this night: I was as an alien in a level that was like huge mansion with half of it filled with water. I found a pipe leading down to bottom floors and went into it. At some point the pipe was filled with water and I started diving down. I dived many pipes until I realized that I wasn't going to get back before drowning and that was really scary. Then I suddenly moved out of the mansion and was looking the whole map from above with black background (you know when you're in spectator mode and can fly outside the map).

The night after NS came out I had a dream where I was an Onos and I was goring all these people who I didnt like. It was great. They were screaming and running and dropping their weapons.. heh..ehehehh.. then I got killed by like.. a huge mounted AA gun while chasing this guy between train carriages.

I've also dreamt that I was a marine on.. bast I think and I got chased by a lerk onto the tram line.. and another marine started the tram moving and I was like.. screaming and waving but he didnt see me.. and I dived out of the way but the wheels on the tram (I know it doesnt have wheels.. but it did in my mind) sliced my legs off then I woke up.

Last night I had a dream where I was an alien on an imaginary map my mind made up and this wierd guy joined the server and told all the aliens where to go and we won..

yea, I dreamed about NS before.

When i went to the hive, planning to kill the hive and i saw a alien trying to evolve something. So, I was standing by it, I hoping that it won't be onos anymore. I once had a dream that I was a fade on ns_eclipse and the marines have taken over 2 of our hives. Î retreated back to our last hive and there was everybody, trying to make a last stand. I joined the battle and saw how everyone of my buddies was slaughtered by the marines who were slowly advancing. Knowing that I wouldn´t stand a chance I tried to turn around and run for my life but something hit me on the head and I fell unconcious. When I woke up (in my dream) I was tied to a desk and someone who seemed to be a doctor mumbled "This sure is an interesting species" and began to open my chest with a huge knife. Then I woke up.

i had a really weird one last night. me and my friends moved into a dorm at my commuinty college and it was a ns level. caged i think it was. yah weird.

I was a Marine, now this must have been an unofficial map since it started on a mountain slope. Marines vs Marines ... there were a bunch at the top, we were hiking down trying to protect <b>someone</b> in our group ... who was an alien, trying to defect or something (wth?) I didn't have either LMG or HMG, I had an OICW <a href='http://www.hkpro.com/oicw.htm' target='_blank'>(If you don't know, click here)</a>.

Once we got about halfway down (we were all in arctic camos) this team of Marines in black shows up at the top, I'm covering the rear so I spot them and take down two. Then we all start running because they've got snowmobiles.

We get to the base of the mountain and it's some kind of ski lodge that's still active even with the alien attack, there's this glass kind of building in the way (like the Great Wall of China) so we open it up because it's bulletproof, go through, then the black ops guys come in, I turn around and go full auto, take down another three and then launch a couple 20mm HE rounds and take the whole wall down.

Dream ends. I wake up. "WTH?" Go back to sleep.

Weirdest part was, I hadn't played NS much that day.
I had met an old friend though.

But, yes, I have dreamed about NS. Before it came out, I had several wall-walking dreams (WITH the rotating view, mind you), and more recently, flying has been added to the mix.

Just so you know... that quote wasnt sun-tzu, I think you have some things confused. Sun-Tzu wrote the art of war. The Taoist master Chuang-Tzu said all that crap about the butterfly.

I actual hardly ever remeber my dreams then abotu 2 days ago I had a dream where I was some weird slug alien thing in a place that seemed much like NS and I was fighting marines. I had another one the next night where I was a gorge, but cant remeber it well. strange seeing as I remeber maybe 1 dream every 2 months normally.
