<div class="IPBDescription">turrets can fire above 30 degrees?</div> i was playing a game on bast, i was alien we had only 2 hives. so i get into the feedwater and to my surprise nothing is built in there, so i evolve into a gorg and proceed to build a hive. as soon as i build it it gets shot by a <!--emo&::siege::--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/siege.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='siege.gif'><!--endemo--> . i thought silly me, they must have it someplace near by so i check and nothing is there. i'm like wtf? i then decide to go down theladder and to my surprise there the <!--emo&::siege::--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/siege.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='siege.gif'><!--endemo--> are, more than 45 degrees below the hive location! i'm wonder how the hell can it fire that high? well anyway i ended up destroying tehm after numerous attempts at controlling the feedwater from marines without OC and DC support.

    Well its possible that the degree system is a little qwerky. Siege turrets can shoot through walls and that might be the reason why the degree thingie didn't work in this case.
