Hud_fastswitch 1 Does Not Work With Scroll Wheel

Cannot fast switch weapons using the mouse wheel. Hud_fastswitch working for number key weapon select but not on wheel. To fix this I used a script. I now can't use the script because of the script blocker.

to be more precise, invnext and invprev do not work correctly with hud_fastswitch 1

This bug has been known since 25 October 2003. It has ID 138 in the bug database. Is it ever going to be fixed?
