Spawnportals Full

<div class="IPBDescription">I mean, wtf?</div> I started to work on a NS map and when i wanted to test it with a friend it didn't work.

Ok, lets see the checklist:
Ready Room = check
Join aliens/marines = check
Commander seat = check
1 hive = check (must there be 3 hives all the time?)
2 resource nodes = check
human/alien starting positions = check

When we join the game, it says that the spawnportals are full... <!--emo&:0--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wow.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='wow.gif'><!--endemo-->

Pls help... Thank you.

did you make player start locations in the readyroom/marine start/alien start?

Sorry if you already did and your post already implied that, but I'm no mapper.

We had a fella in here the other day who had used info_deathmatch_starts instead of info_player_starts. Do Check.

OMG that sux so bad huh!? I did the same thing, u better check those player start points in ur ready room, they must not be player_start entties, did u make em deathmatch entities? I did that, make sure cuz I turned em into player_start entities and it works fine now =).

I am no master mapper by far, my textures clash and my rooms seem a little boring and I can't use a lot of entities such as steam yet, I just don't know how but, I still know that you put down info_player_start for a spawn point. You put the info_player_deathmatch down to define what kind of spawn it is. You need the info player start, my quesiton is do you need the infoplayer deathmatch of info player coop as well?

No. I tried and "repaired" my start positions. And it works.

    You just need:

    info_player_start(s) in the ready room
    team_start(s) for team 1 and team 2

    You don't need any info_deathmatch or info_coop! <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->

By default yes. You <i>could</i> change it using info_gameplay (please don't).
