Looks beautiful. The only things that make me go <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/confused-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused-fix.gif' /><!--endemo--> are the co aliens-respawn-as-skulks change... this could lead to easy spawncamps vs. marines that respawn as HA/HMGs.
Then there's the detail texture lock. SURELY there must be a more elegant way to fix possible exploits. Lock it when mp_consistency is on perhaps. A lot of good people put a lot of hard working into figuring out the detail textures and then creating beautiful texture packs for use in game. Is all their hard work being given the big middle finger?

Right. So it encourages people to not be utter morons in co_ in several ways, which is a good thing.
And beta 5 is now out. <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/biggrin-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->

/edit: im thinking some people with reliable net space should host it for the rest of the masses. i would host it on my college webspace, but it's only 20 mb
That would be nice, unfortunately I dont have the space to host it either... 90% done... why are you taking so long, oh well gives more servers time to make the switch

Is beta 5 a standalone installer? I can't see the beta 1 installer anywhere on the downloads page so I take a guess that you only need to download b5 and not go through the trouble of getting b1 and patching all the way up, right?
